I went on a little tour with my dear friends Frank Xerox and The More Xpress in September. Our accommodations in one of the cities wasn’t the greatest so I had to make a call to my manager and tell him to get us proper hotel – this was where we ended up first:

yes notice the Numark turntables – I never touched anything else then Technics SL 1200 / 1210 the last 13 years so I was not really sold on these nor the Stantons which I were stuck with last weekend – how ironic these turntables pop up “everywhere” now just as the news popped from Panasonic that they are to discontinue their legendary Technics players. Well the good news is that most of these turntables last really long so I won’t see a shortage of turntables in my dj lifetime
Hi folks!!
Time is flying by I just realized as I see alot of the christmas products already are in the shops. So what have been going on lately? I mixed and dubbed another feature length film, I have traveled around half of Europe and even got time to move into a new apartment (it is almost starting to feel like home slowly but surely). September was an awesome month with some legendary trips and even a fun visit from a dear friend from Warsaw.
I’ll try to update some photos and more music soon but here are a few quick edits I made:

I have moved into the studio life much more lately, my DJ appearances are more then half in quantity then what it has been the last few years. After 4 flights, some long train rides and a lot of Vodka it is now Monday again and I have gotten my ass to the studio at 9AM – yes 9AM 
I already finished a commercial today and has started mixing a 5.1 surround sound version of a production I made in stereo last week!

I have made so much stuff lately in the studio and I can’t post any of it due to reasons beyond my control, but soon I will have some stuff ready for you all to enjoy I am sure you won’t be disappointed so keep coming back for updates!!
Right now it is easter Sunday and believe it or not: this is actually my only day off during Easter and knowing how long the Norwegian Easter really is it has been a hard but fun week – I did 4 diffrent clubs in 5 days, 3 of them I hadn’t been working in before ever. Overall the feedback was great so I am a bit optimistic for the spring ahead as I will be doing more of the same clubs in the months to come.
This week upcoming is the soccer game Brann vs Tromsoe, 2 of my last 3 Metro gigs (as far as I am concerned, but who knows?) and a gig at Bocca Bar. On top of all this I have my 5.1 surround sound mixing duties for BUG and if that wasn’t enough I have also agreed to record a band during the weekend in The Loop Lab so I am gonna be mad busy this week. After that I will travel abroad for a few shows and that is gonna close out the month.

I have now started working for Bergen based company Bug. There I share the work load with 2 other very talented producers and sound designers, TomTom and Ralph Myerz. It is quite exciting and different from what I am used to regarding studio work, also getting up in the morning takes some discipline
I now mostly have to work with 5.1 surround which is a lot of fun – a regular day contains mostly of syncing audio to video, doing music for commercials and mixing for TV and cinema.
So now that you know another new part of my life go check out their site to learn more. Word on the street is that they really need animators so holla if you got the skills
