Soundcloud
I haven’t been too active on Soundcloud since I signed up a long time ago. Anyways it is a great site so I just wanted to remind you about my dropbox. Catch you later
I have been working hard in the studio the last 2 years, in between the battles it is great to just fool around with no dead line to experiment. Lately I found a few sketches from 2008 and tried to mix them over and re arrange the layout of the beats. I was really digging this 90′s inspired groove so I mastered it and here is the result:
Let me know what you think!

And a picture from a gig lately just in case you haven’t seen me in a while

I made this while showing one of my friends how Ableton Live works:
Here comes the rhythm of the night
Apparently the crowd at his resident club loves this so much that he thinks I made a hit – for me I think it is very simple – so I leave it to you to decide for yourself.
Today I play a club called 2325 in Stavanger so I will try it out after having it stuffed away on my drive for a few weeks now
In my quest to make my dj sets more unique I have some more dj edits to share with you:
Glenn Loopez – Rude men (Break)
Glenn Loopez – Half steppin chess
What I really hate about the music industry these days is that once 1 guy have success with something 3 weeks later there is 121 similar songs and 278 remixes in the same style . Now I rather “not make” music at all then imitate someone else – to copy or get inspired by someone is a totally different story ![]()
Also if you manage to make a hit that is really cool how about not making something totally similar for your follow up single, you are just gonna be a 1 hit wonder!!
So why don’t I just make something better myself you ask? The irony of it is that I can’t but why just push out a lot of crap? Let the good stuff be easier to find, show some self censorship people – the music world will be a better place for it
So it is the day of the year that changes my routines the most again – Super Bowl Sunday – It is the highlight of the NFL season but also the end of NFL Sundays, 19 weeks of great food and fantastic sports. Now what to do for relaxing? Season is not starting again until September again
So i’ll see you on the “other” side with NFL free Sundays.
Here is a remix I haven’t posted yet:
Here is a pair of remixes I did:
Pitbull – Go girl (High on Sugar mix)
Everything but the girl – Missing (Glenn Loopez edit)
On a really happy note I became an uncle again yesterday – big congrats to my brother and his wife
Also here is a few pictures from my last show together with Fun Lovin Criminals:

I have moved into the studio life much more lately, my DJ appearances are more then half in quantity then what it has been the last few years. After 4 flights, some long train rides and a lot of Vodka it is now Monday again and I have gotten my ass to the studio at 9AM – yes 9AM
I already finished a commercial today and has started mixing a 5.1 surround sound version of a production I made in stereo last week!
BUG updated their showreel and I did the music for this and many others. Go check it out by clicking here
If you wanna look at a few of the clubs I worked lately check out these:
I have now started working for Bergen based company Bug. There I share the work load with 2 other very talented producers and sound designers, TomTom and Ralph Myerz. It is quite exciting and different from what I am used to regarding studio work, also getting up in the morning takes some discipline
I now mostly have to work with 5.1 surround which is a lot of fun – a regular day contains mostly of syncing audio to video, doing music for commercials and mixing for TV and cinema.
So now that you know another new part of my life go check out their site to learn more. Word on the street is that they really need animators so holla if you got the skills
