I have been working hard in the studio the last 2 years, in between the battles it is great to just fool around with no dead line to experiment. Lately I found a few sketches from 2008 and tried to mix them over and re arrange the layout of the beats. I was really digging this 90′s inspired groove so I mastered it and here is the result:

I was sorting thru my hard drives last week and I found the trailer for a cartoon movie I dubbed last year 
It was alot of fun to do, even if it was really hard work and some really long days in the studio, it was a really good work experience. I did it in co operation with BUG and Coriander Film.

Here comes the rhythm of the night
Apparently the crowd at his resident club loves this so much that he thinks I made a hit – for me I think it is very simple – so I leave it to you to decide for yourself.
Today I play a club called 2325 in Stavanger so I will try it out after having it stuffed away on my drive for a few weeks now
So this girl was dancing in front of me for about 4 hours almost nonstop,but since I refused to play some salsa-hiphop she decided to ruin my day by handing me this note!

What I really hate about the music industry these days is that once 1 guy have success with something 3 weeks later there is 121 similar songs and 278 remixes in the same style . Now I rather “not make” music at all then imitate someone else – to copy or get inspired by someone is a totally different story
Also if you manage to make a hit that is really cool how about not making something totally similar for your follow up single, you are just gonna be a 1 hit wonder!!
So why don’t I just make something better myself you ask? The irony of it is that I can’t but why just push out a lot of crap? Let the good stuff be easier to find, show some self censorship people – the music world will be a better place for it
So it is the day of the year that changes my routines the most again – Super Bowl Sunday – It is the highlight of the NFL season but also the end of NFL Sundays, 19 weeks of great food and fantastic sports. Now what to do for relaxing? Season is not starting again until September again
So i’ll see you on the “other” side with NFL free Sundays.
